Belgian double-barreled percussion pistol – circa 1860.

• Made in Saint-Etienne, double percussion barrel.
• Engraved iron fittings and original walnut stock.
• Total length: approximately 24 cm.
• Barrel length: ~ 12.5 cm.
• Inner diameter of the barrels: ~ 11.5 mm.

• Mechanics in good condition – both barrels appear functional upon visual inspection.
• Very good general condition for a mid-19th century piece — wear and patina consistent with age, no apparent modifications.

This double-barreled pistol is a fine example of a 19th-century Belgian “coup de poing” type handgun, produced in the Saint-Étienne region, illustrating the technical and commercial exchanges of weapons of the time.
Percussion weapons sought to combine simplicity, efficiency, and portability before the widespread development of modern revolvers.

Perfect for antique weapons collectors, museums, or military history enthusiasts. Also interesting as a decorative piece thanks to its double-barreled style.
