French bayonet for the Lebel rifle, model 1886-15 modified according to the simplifications of 1915, without quillon.
This example is distinguished by a brass handle, a rare feature observed on some transitional productions or assemblies.

Historical Notes
In 1915, the curved quillon was removed from the bayonets of the Lebel rifle to simplify production and avoid snagging in the trenches.
Designed for the Lebel rifle, this bayonet impresses with its slim profile and robustness. It comes with its Original metal scabbard . The locking button works, and the arsenal markings are visible.
