This rifle is offered here with its matching modern bayonet, bayonet cover and leather sling. (Pedersoli).
The set is in very good used condition, ready to join a collection, a black powder shooting enthusiast or a historical reenactor.

The Model 1777 rifle, designed by the artilleryman Gribeauval, is one of the most emblematic of the Napoleonic army, it was adopted by the French army at the end of the Ancien Régime.
The corrected version in Year IX (1801) brought significant improvements, notably to the plate and the bayonet, thus reinforcing its reliability and robustness on the battlefields of the Napoleonic Wars.
