Check out this American Model M1917 combat dagger, manufactured by the American Cutlery Company (AC Co.) in 1917.
This latest model is characterized by a wraparound guard made of cut sheet metal, composed of six rows of teeth made by cutting and then cold-folding, offering reinforced protection and an aggressive appearance specific to trench fighting.
This dagger has a remnant of "US" marking on the guard, testifying to its authenticity.
It has been electrolytically cleaned to remove oxidation while preserving its original patina.
