Authentic 1895 model belt buckle of the Prussian army, used by troops and non-commissioned officers during the First World War.
This buckle is composed of a brass body with a central nickel silver (or white metal) medallion featuring the royal crown surrounded by the motto "Gott mit uns".
It retains its original leather tab, perfectly mounted from the period and clearly dated 1913.
This 1913 marking is particularly interesting: it corresponds to the pre-war period, making it an early example of the 1895 model still in service at the beginning of the conflict.
