Authentic Hitler Youth (Hitlerjugend) knife, 1933 model, manufactured by the German firm H. & F. Lauterjung in Solingen, a city world-renowned for the quality of its cutlery.
This example belongs to the first production period (1933-1936), particularly sought after by collectors due to the presence of the historical motto acid-etched on the blade.
The single-edged blade bears on one side the manufacturer's mark "H. & F. Lauterjung W. Solingen" accompanied by the inscription "Ges. Geschützt", while the other side features the official motto "Blut und Ehre".
The nickel-plated steel handle is fitted with its checkered black bakelite plates and retains its characteristic rhomboid emblem of the movement. The knife comes with its black lacquered metal scabbard and its original brown leather hanger.
Particularly interesting, the leather is stamped with the manufacturer's mark "LFS", with the letter "F" integrated into an oak leaf, a period hallmark perfectly consistent with German productions of this period.
