French-made 1892 type bayonet, mounted on a Berthier carbine.
The wooden handle has been worked – the plates and rivets are visible, with some chips that are part of its history.
The steel blade, fitted with a characteristic fuller, fits perfectly into its metal sheath, equipped with a loop for a leather gusset.

Authenticity: period French model, used on Berthier carbine.
Originality: Modified handle, with gadroons, made of wood , giving it a unique character.
Completeness: original leather scabbard and gusset.

Length: 53 cm.

Condition: used, with signs of age, a testament to its historical patina.

This model was widely used during the First World War on the Berthier carbine, then kept as a collector's item.
