Belgian percussion double-barreled handgun – circa 1860.

• Made in Saint-Étienne, double percussion cannon.
• Original engraved iron fittings and walnut stock.
• Total length: approximately 24 cm.
• Length of the barrels: ~ 12.5 cm.
• Inner diameter of the barrels: ~ 11.5 mm.

• Mechanics in good condition – both barrels appear to be functional upon visual inspection.
• Very good overall condition for a mid-19th century piece — wear and patina consistent with age, no apparent modifications.

This double-barreled pistol is a fine example of 19th-century Belgian "coup de poing" type handguns, produced in the Saint-Étienne region, illustrating the technical and commercial exchanges of weapons at the time.
Percussion weapons sought to combine simplicity, efficiency, and portability before the widespread development of modern revolvers.

Perfect for antique arms collectors, museums, or military history enthusiasts. Also interesting as a decorative piece thanks to its double-barreled design.
