This unique military piece is recognizable by its hot-forged, hollow-edged blade and its ingenious storage system directly inside the rifle barrel.
Produced from 1936, these bayonets equipped French soldiers throughout the Second World War and into post-war conflicts.
Model: Cross-shaped bayonets for MAS-36.
Origin: France.
Operation: internal system in the barrel, deployment “upside down / right side up”.
Special features:
• No sheath — space saving, lightweight design.
• Blades with four hollow sides obtained by hot forging.
• Possible markings: on the heel of the blade depending on the batch, year, subcontractor.
Compatible with the famous MAS-36 rifle, used from 1936 until the post-war years.
