Authentic trench inkwell made from a French Model 1899 time fuse modified in 1915, dated March 1917.
This fuse equipped the shells of the famous French 75 mm cannon during World War I.
The circular graduation corresponds to the precise adjustment system used by French artillery to program air bursts over enemy positions.
