Modern replica of the famous Model 1777 corrected Year IX rifle, of Indian manufacture dated 1979.

This rifle is offered here with its matching modern bayonet, bayonet cover and leather sling. (Pedersoli).

The set is second-hand in very good condition, ready to join a collection, a black powder shooting enthusiast or a historical reenactor.

The Model 1777 rifle, designed by the artilleryman Gribeauval, is one of the most emblematic of the Napoleonic army; it was adopted by the French army at the end of the Ancien Régime.

The corrected version in Year IX (1801) brought significant improvements, particularly to the lock plate and bayonet, thus strengthening its reliability and robustness on the battlefields of the Napoleonic Wars.
