This model, originally designed with flintlock during the First Empire (around 1806-1814), was modified in the 1830s-1840s to adopt the percussion system, marking a major evolution in the history of French firearms.
This is an authentic regulation cavalry pistol, characterized by careful manufacturing, a robust lock and fittings typical of the period.
